I Owe You an Explanation…

Where was I for the past month, or so? What about the Interviews? Why the Sudden Dip in Activity? Where are we going from here?

I started this Blog to Champion the Creative Community and Fighting Burnout.

I had the kind of optimism that this could blow up to become something big, but at the time, that wasn’t my only goal.

Overcommitting Drove Me Crazy

Here’s what many people don’t see, I was also at that point in my life thinking about how I could navigate my way through the world and make a living given my various skills.

I dabbled in many things, from designing to branding, writing, personality profiling, career management.

I felt, a little later, that I was overcommitting.

There were too many things on my plate and I had to either empty my plate or just try to connect the dots, some way, somehow.

What’s really up.

So, I transitioned back into Freelance Graphic Design. I Designed Name Cards and Logos, and business ended up Booming, not an exaggeration.

I went on to start getting clients for Web Design and Posters too, it was crazy.

The growth in my business was a very undeserved gift from God, and for that I’m very humbled and grateful.

With that said, I found myself with absolutely no time for the Blog, and that was when I remembered you, my followers.

The Current Situation

I still really love talking to other creatives. Asking questions for the purpose of learning and sharing value is a Passion of mine. I still get a genuine sense of satisfaction from helping other creatives to be seen.

The truth is, just like many of us here in this community, we’re all just trying to get our sh*t together. Some struggle publicly, others privately, but we all are.

No matter who you are and what you’re up to, keep doing what you’re doing ☺
